Question of the Day: Tracking

I have always been a little obsessive about tracking things. It’s times like this that I realize that I most likely have some kind of undiagnosed OCD. And that means that now I cannot go for a walk without documenting it.

Nearly goes in Strava (and if it doesn’t, that stresses me out a little), so I know how far I walked, how long I walked, and which shoes I was wearing. I then transfer that to my annual walking planner, where I keep track of time and miles for the day, the month, and the year. And then I color in my miles on my annual mileage chart, so I can see how far I’ve gone. And now that I put this all in writing, yes, I do realize how crazy it all is.

So now that you’ve heard about my crazy…what about you? Do you track your miles or your steps? Do you use an app, a planner, a chart, or something else?
