Question of the Day: Your Best Walk
Spring is often a time for memorable walks – when the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the creatures are frolicking, the flowers are blooming, and everything just seems right with the world (at least on the trail). These are my happy walks. But while I love my trail – and I’m lucky to have such a great place to walk – I’m not sure if it’s the BEST place I’ve ever walked.
I’ve walked some pretty cool places – from the streets of Amsterdam to the hills of Machu Picchu. And I think the best place I’ve ever walked is through Rome, where you just never know what’s around the next corner: a stunning old church, a lively piazza, or ancient ruins.
