Gear Review: STNKY Bag Pro

In our house, we go through a whole lot of stinky laundry. Not only do I spend a lot of time on the trail or on the treadmill, often sweating more than I’d like to admit, but I also have two athletes in the house: a hockey-playing husband and a hockey- and volleyball-playing daughter. But with help from our STNKY Bag Pro, we no longer hear people say, “Ew…what’s that smell?” in our house (or our car…or our hotel room).
The STNKY Bag Pro doubles as a laundry bag and a mesh washing bag. After a hot, sweaty day on the trail (or four long volleyball matches), you can just open up the top of the bag, throw in your stinky gear, and zip it back up. The bag locks in odors and protects your clean clothes from the dirty ones. When it’s time to do the laundry, you just unzip the bottom of the bag, and your gear is contained inside a mesh bag and ready to throw in the washer (and, if you machine-dry your clothes, it can go right into the dryer, too).
While I tend to come straight home from my walks and throw my stinky clothes directly in the laundry room, this ingenious wash bag definitely comes in handy for out-of-town race days and my daughter’s volleyball tournament weekends. The STNKY Bag Pro comes in two sizes: standard or XL. The standard size is perfect for my walking gear—or a couple of my daughter’s volleyball uniforms. But if you’ve got an active family, and you’re heading out for a weekend of hiking, you’ll want to go with the XL instead.
