Question of the Day: What’s Your Favorite Time of Year?

As the winter temperatures get colder and colder, I’m still working on adjusting my gear requirements for tackling the elements on my daily walk. Three years or so ago, there’s no way I would have ever considered regular outdoor walks in the winter — but now I actually enjoy the occasional brisk winter morning walk. Still, this is definitely not my favorite time of year for walking. I’d much rather walk in the spring, when the flowers bloom and the sun starts shining again, or in the fall, when the leaves start to change color and we get a break from the summer heat and humidity.

What about you? Do you love winter walks? Sweaty summer strolls? Or do you prefer spring or fall?

Kristin has been hitting the trail (or the treadmill) for a walk almost every day for the past several years, and she recently completed her first half marathon. She loves sunny fall days, cushy walking shoes, and coconut caramel iced coffee from Dunkin.
