Question of the Day: Weights

When I’m walking on the treadmill, I like to boost my workout a bit by strapping on my Bala Bangles for a little extra weight. Recently, after seeing a bunch of posts about weighted vests, I ordered one for myself — one with all kinds of pockets, so I can customize the weight with sand bags, which my husband kindly filled for me. For weeks, it just sat there on the dining room table, waiting for my next walk. And when I headed out the door, I forgot all about it. This week, though, I finally strapped it on (and I’m still recovering!).

What about you? Do you use weights when you walk? Do you have wrist or ankle weights? A weighted vest? Or do you prefer rucking? Tell us about your experience!
