Question of the Day: Pace

Before we go any further, I have to make sure to make this point: your answer does not matter. Not at all. If you’ve been around here for a while, you know that I am 100% in favor of walking the pace that’s right for you. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Now that we got that little piece of business out of the way…

What’s the right pace for you? Do you prefer an easy stroll, a brisk walk, or a power walk?

For me, it depends on a lot of things: the day, my mood, the weather, my location, and my company. I tend to work with the pace of whoever’s walking with me. If I’m at the mall or in the neighborhood, my pace is a little easier. If I’m alone on the trail, I pick up the pace. It tends to change from day to day…
