Question of the Day: Cool It Down

Some people insist on warming up and cooling down before every workout – maybe with some stretching and/or a nice, easy pace.

For me, it depends on where I am and what kind of workout I’ve done. If I’m on the trail, I’ll amid that I’m not great about cooling down. I may take an easier lap around the parking lot before I leave – or, if I’m in a hurry, I’ll finish my walk and hop right in the car. If I’m on the treadmill, though, that’s completely different. I always do at least five minutes of gradual cooldown before I hit STOP.

What about you? Are you one of those people who never finish up a workout without a cool-down, or do you finish your walk and call it good?
