Question of the Day: Recovery

After a good walk, you might feel refreshed and invigorated. Or maybe you feel tired and sweaty and hungry. Whatever the case, any time you get in a good workout, your body needs a little time to recover.

Once I finish walking, I make sure that I’ve had plenty of water to stay hydrated. Then I take a nice, warm shower (okay…usually it’s hot) to unwind and rest my muscles. And I finish off with my coffee. I know that chocolate milk and protein shakes are great ways to recover – so I pretend that I’m doing that by blending my iced coffee with some of Aldi’s creamy Mocha Iced Coffee. Close enough, right?
