I used to be a perfume person. I used to have a signature scent that people would smell and immediately know it was me. But that was then. Now, I’m more of a “who has time for that stuff?” kind of person. I’m constantly on the run, so routines have been stripped down to next to nothing. I mean, when you have to get up, get ready, and get your teenager fed and out the door for a volleyball tournament at 6 am (and you don’t happen to be a morning person), you learn to stick to the bare minimum. And perfume went right out the door—along with makeup, jewelry, and hairstyles that require more than 30 seconds.
I still like smelling nice, though—and that’s why I love HedgeLeap’s perfume body lotion: because it’s self-care multi-tasking.
The lotion is clean and lightweight, without a lot of nasty chemicals. It isn’t sticky or greasy—just soft and hydrating—and it makes my skin incredibly happy, even on cold, dry days. And, as an added bonus, it smells great, too. Instead of the typical lotion scents (which may or may not last), this lotion smells like a perfume—and the scent lasts for hours.
There are two different scent options: Aqua Petal, a pretty fruit and floral blend, or Sunny Fig, a slightly earthier blend of citrus and amber. Both feel absolutely luxurious—especially if you’re like me, and you rarely take the time for luxuries. For anyone who hasn’t used perfume in a while, the scent can seem strong at first—but you can always use less (just on pressure points) to tone it down.

If you’ve pared own the products on your bathroom counter, but you sometimes miss the days when you put in a little more time and effort, this perfume lotion offers the best of both worlds. It will keep your skin soft and hydrated, but it’ll also make you smell like you indulged at the perfume counter. It’s self-care multi-tasking at its finest.
Pros:
– Self-care multitasking!
– Lotion makes skin soft and hydrated
– Not greasy or sticky
– Lasting perfume scent
Cons:
– Perfume scent can be a bit strong
You can find HedgeLeap Perfume Body Lotion in both scents on Amazon.
