Workout Review: 26-Minute Mini Trampoline Rebounder Workout Challenge with Paul Eugene

After my first workout experience with Paul Eugene (with his Turbo Power Walk birthday week workout), I knew I’d found a new favorite. He’s such an upbeat coach—and that first workout kept me smiling from start to finish. So for my second Paul Eugene workout, I decided to mix in some bouncing with his 26-Minute Mini Trampoline Rebounder Workout Challenge.
Paul Eugene has been teaching rebounder workout classes for more than two decades—since long before celebrities like Jennifer Garner made them cool. And he incorporates all of the lessons that he picked up all those years ago into this workout, combining marching, bouncing, some arm movements, and a few other basic steps to get your body moving and your heart pumping. The workout uses easy steps and movements, but it all moves along at a fast pace, so you’ll get plenty of steps and a solid workout at the same time. And after around 1.75 miles of steps and bouncing, the instructor ends the workout with a brief cool-down and some stretches before sending you on your way.
While this workout is generally pretty basic—with simple moves and generic background music—there’s just something about Paul Eugene that makes it all fun. This lovable senior’s quirky personality and upbeat attitude make him feel like a jovial grandpa who’s just really proud of you for showing up for yourself—and his bouncy personality (pun totally intended) will keep you smiling through every step and every bounce.
Though the workout claims to be for all fitness levels, though, it is definitely a brisk pace, so I recommend getting a little comfortable with your rebounder before tackling this workout. But if you’ve gotten the hang of marching on your rebounder—and you’re up for a fun, upbeat bounce-walking challenge, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Pros:
– Upbeat instructor
– Basic, simple moves
– Fast pace
– Includes a cool-down
Cons:
– Generic music
– Pace might be too fast for beginners
