Some people dress according to their mood. They reach for their favorite shirt when they’re feeling especially happy—or when they need an extra boost. While I do often dress according to my mood—which usually amounts to wearing comfy joggers when I’m feeling tired or wild leggings when I’m feeling upbeat—I also accessorize according to my mood, thanks to my goodr sunglasses collection. You never know whether I’ll show up in my cool red Mach Gs or my neon green VRGs or one of an almost embarrassing number of OGs. On extra gloomy days (especially when those gloomy days happen to fall on a Monday), I often reach for my pretty rainbow Run Ready Funfetti Runways—a cat eye style that’s been discontinued.

After discontinuing the Runways, though, goodr replaced them with the Glam G. The style is similar; in fact, they’re almost identical: a bold cat eye look with a number of (mostly classy and understated) different color options. Normally, I would gravitate toward the more vibrant options, but I decided to class up my accessories a bit with Not Gray, Diet Black—a matte charcoal frame with black gradient lenses and shiny metal accents. But while the color may be more understated than most of my admittedly over-the-top goodrs, the style makes up for it. I love the eye-catching cat eye shape—and while my Runways are a little heavier than the average goodrs, the Glam G is definitely a lighter-weight upgrade. These are the kind of sunglasses that I could wear all day—and I might forget that they’re on my face. The gradient lenses are also a nice perk—because they’re dark enough on the top of the lens to shade my eyes from the sun, but they’re light enough on the bottom of the lens that I can easily see the shadier parts of the trail without having to prop my sunglasses up on top of my head.

While goodr’s OGs are great everyday sunnies—perfect for everything from long Saturday walks to a day at the beach—the Glam G brings a little extra glamour to the same old sunglasses. But, instead of sacrificing comfort and affordability for style, they’re still as lightweight and affordable as fans have come to expect from the brand.

Pros:
– Fun cat eye style
– Lightweight
– Gradient lenses are great for a variety of uses
– Available in a number of colors

Cons:
– Might be a bit big for some smaller heads
– Color options tend to be plain/traditional

You can find the Glam G on Amazon–or order directly from goodr online.
