Question of the Day: How Often Do You Walk?

Every weekday morning, after my daughter is on the bus and heading to school, I check my email and finish up a little bit of work, and then I head out for my daily walk. During warmer, sunnier months, I might even fit in a walk in the evening with a friend or family member, too.

On the weekend, well, things aren’t quite so routine. With the family at home – and with more activities and chores occupying my time – it takes more effort to fit in a good walk. Sometimes I’m able to schedule time time with a good friend – but sometimes it means packing up the family and taking them to the zoo to get some steps in. But, on average, I try to walk six days a week.

Kristin has been hitting the trail (or the treadmill) for a walk almost every day for the past several years, and she recently completed her first half marathon. She loves sunny fall days, cushy walking shoes, and coconut caramel iced coffee from Dunkin.
